Her primary medium is ceramics. Seemingly simple household objects—vases, cups, and plates—never lend themselves to a straightforward interpretation in her practice. Delicate and tactile at first sight, her works reveal themselves upon closer interaction as heavy and dense objects.
Her main themes revolve around broad, sometimes even overwhelming concepts of the familiar everyday environment—nature, home, love. Masha’s objects exist in a flickering state between design and art, between an utilitarian vase and an unfinished sculpture.
